My 'get irritated at urban myths' hat is on today, so:

+ Which radio station was it? Why aren't they credited? Why is there no link on the internet? Does this predate the internet? If so, when was it broadcast?
+ The first two stories are told from the first person, and the second two are told from the third person. Would this be true in a genuine radio transcript?
+ Would any of these stories ever realistically be broadcast?

...and furthermore, a little digging on premier urban myths reference Snopes.com reveals that all of these have been doing the rounds since- in the case of the birthday story- at least 1920.

+ Kissing daddy's willie
+ Birthday Surprise
+ Tampax
+ Glucose spunk variant

Of course you know all this anyway and I am just ranting for the sake of it. But these things really, really irritate me because I've heard them all and they are all entirely devoid of appeal for me.

Roll on the nuclear holocaust.
