*abruptly*
I don't know if you wrote this piece NOC or if you researched it, but it lacks clarifications. Clarifications like

a) The original sin is no longer a burden. As the Doctrine teaches, when we are baptised, we are washed clean of the original sin. Christ was crucified to give us a chance to succeed without any burden from the past. We are free of the original sin, through Jesus.
b) In the new Testament, death means spirirtual death. So when Paul speaks about deadly sins, it's the death of the soul, its condemnation.
c) While God's law, whichever way you read it condemns any form of homosexuaity, perversion, lust and immorality, it is clearly written in the new Testament that it is not a law for the world. It is a law for the believers. Now if you do believe, then you have to try your best to live by the law. If you don't believe, you have no obligation, but if you unknowingly live by the law, it will count for you in the final Judgement. But human laws have no obligation to follow God's law leading us to
d) Homosexuality is a sin. But it is never a crime. Pursuing homosexual lust condemns your immortal soul and only true repentance and return to God can save you. But in modern society, a society where sinners hold the highest places and liars become presidents, a sin can no longer be considered anything but a characteristic. So if you don't care about Christ you can be a homosexual and it's nobody's business. Get married, adopt a kid, get a job. Society should not care.

As a Christian, I say : if liars, murderers and junkies can call upon God to save America, then Society has no right to enforce God's law.

As a matter of fact, no society should enforce God's law. After Christ, the testament is between God and the believer. There are no chosen nations. These are no final days. You can't save anyone against his will. And stoning gays as the Leviticus commands is no way to save a man.

Just a few thoughts.
