Just to put history in perspective, after Illaekae mantioned those dumbasses...

The N17 terrorist group, while named in "honour" to the day, was all but honouring the memory. The Polytechnic School rebellion was a peaceful one. There was no violence from the students, no guns, no bombs, none. The N17 morons killed in cold-blood. Successful? Mostly, yeah. Terrifying? Never. With the exception of one accident in their 28 years of action, no one felt threatened by them, except maybe CIA operatives, US embassadors and industrial mini-tycoons. Moreover, with the exception of their founding core, most of the operatives were youngsters with no connection to the resistance organizations, young maoists/trotskyists/marxists who read the "Minimanual of the Urban Guerrilla" by Carlos Marighella one too many times.

They stained this date for too long. Let them be forever forgotten.

PS I never forget Franco, Salazar, Pinochet... they are part of the same group...
PS2 The american foreign policy is very succesful. It creates enemies so that the american public has something to fear...
PS3 It was funny that in their trial, those "Brave urban guerrillas" turned on eachother an spilled their guts...
