OK first off you need a Bit Torrent Client programme to download the Torrrent movies. I use Azures but it needs Java to run. Bit Tornado is also good. For reasons that are too involved to go into here don't use Bit Comet. :pirategirl

Once you have installed the client you need to find the Torrents. Most, if not all, torrent sites are free and most require membership, also free.

The life of a torrent on a site depends on how popular it is. The original seeder, or uploader, seeds it untill several people have leeched, or downloaded, the entire thing and they take over seeding it. As other people download it they also seed it. This goes on untill people either stop seeding or stop leeching.

Normally it's best to avoid downloading a new torrent in the first couple of days as there will only be 1 seed and it will be slow. After 3 or 4 days there should be several seeds and it will come down reasonably fast. By around day 10 things may start to slow down.

I have seeded a few unpopular torrents that died almost as soon as I uploaded them. Others have been running for over 3 months. So it all depends.

As for where to find the torrents, that's easy, take a look here but please note the lists go out of date rapidly so some of the listed sites will be dead.

P.S. Fast and the digital rights idiots are not interested in porn sharing as the porn industry have yet to get onboard and even if they tried they would no doubt be turned down. So you can probably share as much of this as you like. As for sharing Software, Movies or Music that's a different matter, just be carefull. If you want to download any of this The Pirate Bay is probably the safest site as it's in Scandanavia where apparently digital rights are not recognised.

Addendum. I've now ditched Azures and gone back to BitTornado. A lot more stable and has far less overheads.
